Call for Volunteer - Professional Development Committee ChairTerm: The Professional Development Chair serves on the Academy Board of Directors and is appointed by the Executive Board for a term of 3 years. The Professional Development Chair reports to the Vice President of the Academy. Duties include improving and updating the Study Guide for the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialty Examination and overseeing the Academy Circle/SIG Chairs. The Professional Development Chair is the board liaison for the Liaison to the CVP Specialty Council and the Academy's Residency and Fellowship Liaison. The Professional Development Chair oversees updates to the Academy DPT Entry Level Competency Document. The Professional Development Chair also assists the Education Chair in developing, hosting, and sponsoring academy-sponsored continuing education seminars, webinars, and conferences. The Professional Development Chair assists the Board of Directors during strategic planning and assumes duties as directed by the President and the Board of Directors.
